Festival · September 18, 2026 · Corte Ruffoni, Via Sacco 3 - Zevio (VR)
On Friday, September 18th, the PIASE Festival 2026 makes a stop in Zevio, at Corte Ruffoni. This widespread festival by the Ecomuseo Aquae Planae ("piase" means "pleasure" in dialect) runs from September 4th to October 18th, spanning 21 municipalities in the Veronese Plain, focusing on community, movement, and local heritage. The program includes "Memorie di corte: gli oggetti della vita contadina raccontano un “paese perduto”" (Memories of the Court: objects of rural life tell of a “lost village”), a flute, clarinet, and cello ensemble performance, and "Personaggi e storie del folklore notturno" (Characters and stories of nocturnal folklore). For dinner, "La pianura in tavola" (The Plain on the Table) at 8:00 PM, curated by Associazione Cuochi Veronesi and Slow Food Valli Grandi Veronesi. This tasting dinner is a collective narrative of the Veronese Plain, blending ancient knowledge, excellent raw ingredients, and stories of those who work the land, raise livestock, transform products, and preserve traditions daily. Many experiences require mandatory booking via the Ecomuseo website.
Indulge in a delightful tasting experience featuring local Veronese specialties. Savor a cheese tasting from Caseificio Strambini, perfectly paired with products and compotes from F.lli Boschetti. Enjoy a main course of creamy risotto made with Riso Grazia, enriched with Monte Veronese Mezzano cheese from Caseificio Strambini and a hint of fig mustard sauce from F.lli Boschetti. Complement your meal with fine wines from Cantina Le Carezze, freshly baked bread and grissini from Panificio Pasticceria Caffè Manfrin, and conclude with a decadent three-chocolate cake, also from Panificio Pasticceria Caffè Manfrin, alongside a rich coffee from Caffè Fusari.
