On Sunday, October 11, 2026, the PIASE Festival makes a stop in Terrazzo, at Corte Chiesa. This widespread festival by the Ecomuseo Aquae Planae (where "piase" means "pleasure" in dialect) runs from September 4 to October 18, spanning 21 municipalities in the Veronese Plain with a focus on community, movement, and local heritage. The program includes "Terrazzo a pedali: tra corti, sapori e storie di pianura" (Terrazzo by bike: exploring courtyards, flavors, and plain stories), "Cartocci e mais d’altri tempi" (Paper cones and corn of yesteryear), an animated tour of Corte Chiesa, and "Ciacole e risade de veronesità" (Chats and laughs of Veronese spirit). For lunch, "La pianura in tavola" (The Plain on the Table) at 12:30 PM, curated by the Associazione Cuochi Veronesi and Slow Food Valli Grandi Veronesi. This tasting lunch is a collective narrative of the Veronese Plain, blending ancient knowledge, excellent raw ingredients, and stories of those who work the land, farm, transform, and preserve traditions daily. Indulge in a delightful tasting experience featuring various "stortine" (a type of local sausage), a Slow Food Presidium, expertly prepared by Luca Faggioni and paired with Grana Padano "Sole e Luca." Enjoy refreshing beverages from Cantina Le Carezze, exquisite coffee from Caffè Fusari, and delectable pastries from LaLaLand Patisserie. Fresh bread and grissini will be provided by Panificio Degani. For your main course, savor a creamy risotto made with Riso Grazia, local "NaturaSì Legnago" pumpkin, ricotta from Caseificio Ghidetti and Latteria Paradiso, and crispy pumpkin chips.

From 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, embark on a cycling tour titled "Terrazzo a pedali: tra corti, sapori e storie di pianura."
