Festival · October 4, 2026 · Cascina del Parco di Legnago, Viale dei Tigli - Legnago (VR)
On Sunday, October 4th, the PIASE Festival 2026 makes a stop in Legnago, at the Cascina del Parco di Legnago. This widespread festival, organized by the Ecomuseo Aquae Planae (where "piase" means "pleasure" in the local dialect), runs from September 4th to October 18th, spanning 21 municipalities in the Veronese Plain. It's a celebration of community, movement, and the local territory. The Legnago event features discussions on "The Intermodality of the Adige River," exploring "Legnago between Nature and Productive History," and workshops like "From Grain to Bread," alongside talks on "Landscapes of Abandonment and Future Landscapes." For lunch, enjoy "La pianura in tavola" – a picnic version at 12:30 PM, curated by the Associazione Cuochi Veronesi and Slow Food Valli Grandi Veronesi. This picnic is a collective narrative of the Veronese Plain, showcasing ancient knowledge, excellent raw materials, and the stories of those who work the land, farm, transform, and preserve traditions daily. Many experiences require advance booking on the Ecomuseo website.
Indulge in a delightful selection of local flavors, including craft beers from birrificio Fogliarubia, rich coffee from Caffè Fusari, and a refreshing Semifreddo Jurri Gelateria dessert with berries from Casa Clelia. Savor a tasting of Monte Veronese cheese expertly presented by Luca Faggioni, a wholesome Barley and Cereal Salad from NaturaSì Legnago, and a delicious Olivieri Bun sandwich featuring pulled pork from Signor Maiale.
