Experience the vibrant spirit of Martignacco with the Perdon 2026 and the Parish Centennial Celebration! This rich program of events features open-air cinema screenings, live music from local artists, enchanting magic shows for children, and concerts by the Filarmonica Leonardo Linda. The event also marks the 100th anniversary of the Parish with a special dinner and a grand lottery drawing.
Indulge in classic Italian festival fare, including various pasta dishes, grilled meats, and the regional specialty 'frico' – a delicious cheese and potato pancake, often served with polenta. You'll also find unique local offerings like 'sardellata' (a fish dish) and 'cosciona di pollo con polenta' (chicken leg with polenta), alongside refreshing Friulano wine and draft beer.
The festivities kick off on August 20th at 7:00 PM with the opening of the beverage stand, followed by an outdoor cinema screening of 'Wonka' at 9:00 PM. On August 21st and 22nd, food stalls open at 7:00 PM, with live music performances by 'Claudia Gobet' and the 'Trio Gemex' respectively at 9:00 PM. August 23rd begins with a Holy Mass at 9:30 AM, followed by a procession with the Filarmonica Leonardo Linda. Beverage stalls open from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and at 5:30 PM, children can enjoy a magic show with 'Mago Deda'. Food stalls reopen at 7:00 PM, leading to a concert by the Filarmonica Leonardo Linda at 9:00 PM. August 24th features a Briscola card tournament at 7:00 PM, with a pasta dinner for all participants at 9:00 PM. A special 'Grande Sardellata' dinner is scheduled for August 27th at 7:30 PM (reservations required by August 24th). On August 28th, food stalls open at 7:00 PM, followed by a musical evening with 'LGB - Power Stajare' at 9:00 PM. August 29th includes the opening of food stalls at 7:00 PM, a multicultural fashion show by 'Le Orchidee' at 8:30 PM, and music with 'Umberto Musica e Simpatia' at 10:00 PM. The Parish's 100th-anniversary dinner takes place on August 30th at 8:00 PM (reservations required by August 24th), with food stalls opening at 7:00 PM, music by 'Moreno' at 8:30 PM, and the grand lottery drawing at 11:00 PM. The event concludes on September 5th with a beverage stand opening at 7:00 PM and a special presentation, 'La Speranza nelle Radici - Terremoto Friuli 1976', at 9:00 PM.
