Experience the vibrant spirit of Martignacco with the Perdon 2026 and the Parish Centennial Celebration! This rich program of events features open-air cinema screenings, live music from local artists, enchanting magic shows for children, and concerts by the Filarmonica Leonardo Linda. Enjoy convivial moments at food stalls offering delicious local specialties and themed evenings. The event also marks the 100th anniversary of the Parish with a special dinner and a grand lottery drawing.
Indulge in classic Italian festival fare, including fresh pasta dishes, grilled meats, and the regional specialty 'frico' – a delicious cheese and potato pancake, often served with polenta. You'll also find crispy Wienerschnitzel with potatoes, traditional sardellata (sardine dish), and refreshing local Friulian wine and draft beer.
The festivities kick off on August 20th at 7:00 PM with the opening of the beverage stand, followed by an outdoor cinema screening of 'Wonka' at 9:00 PM. On August 21st and 22nd, food stalls open at 7:00 PM, with live music at 9:00 PM featuring 'Claudia Gobet' and the 'Trio Gemex' respectively. August 23rd begins with a Holy Mass at 9:30 AM, followed by a procession with the Filarmonica Leonardo Linda. Beverage stalls open from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and at 5:30 PM, 'Mago Deda' presents a magic show for kids. Food stalls reopen at 7:00 PM, leading to a concert by the Filarmonica Leonardo Linda at 9:00 PM. August 24th features a Briscola tournament at 7:00 PM, with a pasta dinner for participants at 9:00 PM. A special 'Grande Sardellata' dinner is on August 27th at 7:30 PM (reservations required by August 24th). On August 28th, food stalls open at 7:00 PM, followed by music with 'LGB - Power Stajare' at 9:00 PM. August 29th includes food stalls at 7:00 PM, a multicultural fashion show by 'Le Orchidee' at 8:30 PM, and music with 'Umberto Musica e Simpatia' at 10:00 PM. August 30th features food stalls at 7:00 PM, a 'Cena Paesana' (village dinner) celebrating the Parish's 100 years at 8:00 PM (reservations required by August 24th), music with 'Moreno' at 8:30 PM, and the grand Lottery drawing at 11:00 PM. The event concludes on September 5th with a beverage stand opening at 7:00 PM and a special presentation, 'La Speranza nelle Radici - Terremoto Friuli 1976', at 9:00 PM.
