The highlight of the summer season in Allumiere arrives from August 21st to 23rd, when the town pauses to experience one of the most cherished and prestigious events in the entire region: the 60th Palio delle Contrade. The 2026 edition is a special one, celebrating sixty years of history, passion, and community spirit. The six town districts – Burò, Nona, Ghetto, Polveriera, La Bianca, and Sant'Antonio – will once again compete on August 23rd in a spectacle that symbolizes Allumiere's identity. These three days are filled with competitions, parades, vibrant colors, deep emotions, and widespread popular participation, drawing thousands of spectators every year. This year, the event holds even greater significance due to its prestigious anniversary. However, this is just one part of the Summer 2026. The municipal administration, led by Mayor Luigi Landi, is currently finalizing the general calendar of events before the official presentation of the complete program. Alongside the local festivals and the Palio, numerous other cultural, musical, sports, and entertainment events are planned to engage residents and tourists from June through September, making Allumiere's summer season even more lively and attractive. The goal is to offer a program that showcases the territory, supports local associations, and promotes the traditions that have always been the beating heart of the community.
