Experience the Palio di San Vigilio, a vibrant festival that brings Villa Carcina to life from September 5th to 13th. Enjoy a week packed with sports, music, dance, and authentic local cuisine. From relay races and bike rides to traditional lunches featuring 'spiedo' (spit-roasted meat) and 'polenta taragna,' this event is a true celebration of local traditions. Evenings are filled with karaoke, traditional Italian ballroom dancing ('ballo liscio'), live band concerts, and DJ sets, creating a festive atmosphere perfect for the whole family.

The festival kicks off on September 5th at 7:00 PM with the opening of the food stands, followed by a running relay race at 9:00 PM. September 6th features a bike ride through the town at 10:00 AM and a special SPIEDO lunch at 12:00 PM (reservations recommended), concluding with a Holy Mass at 5:30 PM. On September 7th, enjoy fun egg-tossing and sack races at 9:00 PM, karaoke with "NIK JAVA" at 9:00 PM, and traditional 'ballo liscio' with the orchestra "GLI ZEUS" at 9:00 PM. A dedicated Polenta Taragna dinner is scheduled for September 9th at 7:30 PM (reservations recommended). September 11th brings adult flag-stealing and wood-cutting games at 9:00 PM. The Palio parade and award ceremony for the winning 'contrada' (district) take place on September 12th at 2:00 PM, followed by a concert from the band "7 IN CONDOTTA" at 9:30 PM and a Summer dance tour with DJ SKEGIA at 9:30 PM. The festival concludes on September 13th with more 'ballo liscio' featuring the orchestra "ANNA E ANDREA MUSIC" at 9:00 PM.
