The event particularly highlights Deruta's renowned ceramic tradition. The town transforms into a 19th-century setting, complete with costumed performers, musicians, and flag-wavers. The festival features historical parades, exciting competitions between the Borgo, Piazza, and Valle districts, and traditional games of physical skill, culminating in the crowning of the Palio winners for both adults and children.
