The Palio del Ticino, now in its 20th edition, brings medieval life back to vivid reality with a historical parade of over 200 costumed participants and a medieval encampment at Castello Visconteo. The event features a thrilling jousting tournament, falconry displays, and flag-wavers. Teams compete in an archery contest and a traditional 'barcè' boat race on the Ticino river to win the coveted Palio.
