The Palio dei Terzieri is Umbria's most important Renaissance historical re-enactment, held annually in the historic center of Città della Pieve (PG). For two weeks, the town travels back to the era of Perugino with over a thousand costumed participants, historical parades, Renaissance fairs, shows, traditional taverns, and the famous Caccia del Toro—an archery challenge between the three Terzieri: Castello, Casalino, and Borgo Dentro.
