The 55th Regional Apple Exhibition in Pantianicco celebrates the apple and local products with two weekends of indoor festivities. The event offers food and wine tastings, live music, children's entertainment, and competitions. It's a fantastic opportunity to discover the culinary excellence of the Friuli region.
Indulge in a variety of apple-based delights, from refreshing apple cider and juice to artisanal apple vinegar. Savor delicious local desserts made with zero-kilometer ingredients, enjoy traditional Italian pasta dishes, and discover authentic Friuli Venezia Giulia apples and regional honey.
Join us for two weekends of fun! The festivities kick off on Friday, September 25th, at 6:30 PM with the judging of apple crates and the opening of food and wine stands, followed by a DJ set with Dj Michael Macor at 9:30 PM. Saturday, September 26th, features the official inauguration of the exhibition at 5:30 PM, a technical conference and awards ceremony at 6:00 PM, and an evening of dancing with the Novanta orchestra at 9:00 PM. Sunday, September 27th, starts with the 'Marcia Mela a Spasso' fun run at 8:30 AM, followed by lunch with the Pantianicco community at 12:00 PM, awards, and children's entertainment with 100 kg of apples and workshops at 3:00 PM. Enjoy an afternoon of dancing with Stefania Marchesi at 4:00 PM, and a grand evening with Stefania Marchesi and her orchestra at 9:00 PM. The second weekend begins on Thursday, October 1st, with food and wine stands opening at 6:30 PM, a Beekeeper's Evening with a technical conference, a briscola card tournament at 8:30 PM, and a cultural evening 'Terremoto e Volontariato' at 8:30 PM. Friday, October 2nd, offers more food and wine at 6:30 PM and a fun evening with DJ Bosco at 10:00 PM. Saturday, October 3rd, hosts the 35th Apple and Honey Dessert Competition at 3:00 PM, the 1st Morra Tal paîs dal miluç Tournament at 4:00 PM, awards for the dessert competition at 8:30 PM, and dancing with Roger la Voce del Sole at 9:00 PM. The grand finale on Sunday, October 4th, includes the 3rd Piaggio Incontro della Pomella and Carburamela sports car gathering registrations at 9:00 AM, the 26th Franco Cragno cycling race for amateurs at 2:00 PM, children's entertainment at 3:00 PM, an afternoon of dancing with Cuori in pista at 3:30 PM, and a spectacular closing evening with the Mary Maffeis orchestra at 9:00 PM.
