Get ready for the 56th edition of the Mostra Nazionale del Cavallo in Città di Castello! This spectacular equestrian festival returns to Parco Alexander Langer, promising two enchanting nights dedicated to the world of horses. After a year's hiatus, the event is back to captivate audiences with some of the finest equestrian show artists. The highlight is “Armonia,” a breathtaking show directed and presented by Nico Belloni, a renowned figure in national and international equestrian events, returning to his hometown to share his passion. Both Saturday and Sunday, at 9:00 PM, the amphitheater in Parco Langer will host the gala, where horses and artists will tell a story through the universal language of movement. It's a celebration of the beautiful bond between humans and animals, built on mutual trust. Each scene will honor the horse's strength, elegance, and sensitivity, making them the absolute stars of a performance where technique and poetry blend harmoniously. Spectators are invited to rediscover an authentic way of life rooted in respect for nature, listening, and collaboration. This universal message will also define the 2026 equestrian review in Città di Castello across various moments. The enduring human passion for horses will be explored from childhood, with attractions for kids and activities from equestrian centers, through to maturity, featuring dressage, working equitation, doma vaquera, and gymkhana. For two days, the excellence of Italian horse breeding will take center stage, alongside the emotions of ethical training and the power of inclusion that, whether in the saddle or carriage, overcomes all barriers. This year's program offers a broad vision of the horse world, drawing from Città di Castello's traditions with the 'giostra dell’anello' (ring joust) and an unprecedented collaboration with the Compagnia dei Balestrieri tifernate, who will set up a Renaissance camp as a tribute to the city's history. The event will also include themed book presentations and a theatrical performance.
