The 34th edition of the medieval reenactment in the charming village of Valvasone transforms Friuli's history into a vibrant, living story. Over 150 events, including battles, tournaments, parades, shows, and scenes of medieval life, fill the historic squares and courtyards. The highlight of the event is the candlelit medieval dinner, while the fair showcases artisans demonstrating ancient crafts. This year's theme honors the Orcolat (the 1348 earthquake) and Saint Francis of Assisi.
