Lu Paniri 'Tee Site is Palmariggi's historic autumn festival dedicated to the pomegranate, the town's symbolic fruit and the star of a tradition that blends a local fair, market, gastronomy, and Salento folk culture. In 2026, the event celebrates its 50th edition with three days of festivities, from October 9th to 11th, featuring food stalls, local products, pomegranates, artisan crafts, and traditional folk music.
The gastronomic offerings include traditional Salento peasant dishes, meat specialties, pittule (fried dough balls), and various preparations featuring the star of the show: the pomegranate. Local wine and other beverages will be available to complement your evenings.
