Experience a vibrant summer celebration in Ardea, featuring an exciting lineup of food festivals, motor gatherings, and live concerts. Three historic country food festivals—Sagra del Castrato, Sagra del Pesce, and Sagra dell'Amatriciana—take turns over weekends in July and August. Enjoy authentic flavors of Lazio's culinary traditions and local food and wine in a festive and joyful atmosphere, complete with live music and entertainment.
Indulge in classic Roman-Lazio dishes, including the rich and savory Amatriciana pasta, a beloved local specialty, and Castrato, a traditional slow-cooked lamb dish offering a taste of authentic regional cuisine.
The festival kicks off on Saturday, July 18th, with the 8ª Camion Raduno (Truck Rally) featuring DJ Simone, followed by the 3ª Trattori Raduno (Tractor Rally) on Sunday, July 19th, with Nero 01 and the 1° Memorial Vincenzo Trevisani. The Sagra del Castrato (Lamb Festival) runs from Friday, July 24th, to Sunday, August 2nd, with live music from I Figli delle Stelle, Valentina Band, Tony Gullo, Ales. Busà e i Tropicana, Giampiero Marino, and I Maracaibo. The 10ª Sagra del Pesce (Fish Festival) takes over from Friday, August 7th, to Tuesday, August 11th, featuring Ottava Nota, Le Stelle del Liscio, La Banda del Cuore with special guest Entony Tiberi, I Figli delle Stelle, and Tony Gullo. The 8ª Sagra dell'Amatriciana (Amatriciana Festival) runs from Monday, August 17th, to Thursday, August 20th, with performances by Simone Band, Valentina Band, I Charleston, and Giampiero Marino. The 'Festa di Fine Estate' (End of Summer Party) concludes the festivities from Friday, August 21st, to Sunday, August 23rd, with Le Stelle del Liscio and Entony Tiberi, DJ Simone, and a grand finale featuring a spectacular fireworks display and DJ Simone.
