Following last year's success, the 2nd edition of L'Autunno nel Piatto returns to Castelnuovo di Assisi, inviting you to savor the best of Umbrian autumn produce. This culinary event promises to delight your taste buds with local specialties, all crafted using the freshest seasonal ingredients. Held at the Pro Loco Castelnuovo di Assisi Multipurpose Structure, the festival offers comfortable indoor seating for 300 guests. Expect a rich menu featuring everything from cheese and cured meat platters to bruschetta with liver pâté and broccoli cream. First courses include hearty chestnut and chickpea soup and wild boar pappardelle. Main dishes highlight roasted lamb with aromatic herbs and wild boar bites with onions and Taggiasca olives. Don't forget to save room for traditional desserts like tozzetti with vinsanto and apple strudel.
