Step back in time to 1230 and experience a vibrant historical re-enactment celebrating the medieval wedding of Count Opizzo Fieschi and Bianca De' Bianchi. This three-day festival kicks off with 'MedioEvo nel Borgo' in Cogorno, followed by a lively medieval bachelor party on August 13th. The grand finale on August 14th is the wedding ceremony itself, featuring an enormous 13-quintal (that's over 2,800 pounds!) wedding cake made of cream and sponge cake. The festivities conclude with a fun couples' game, perfect for finding your soulmate!
