Experience a unique centuries-old tradition in Mirabella Eclano! La Tirata del Carro features a towering 25-meter wooden obelisk, pulled through the town's streets by six pairs of oxen and a dedicated team of people. This spectacular procession, dating back to the 1600s, takes place on the day of the Madonna Addolorata and lasts approximately five hours, culminating in a blessing of the animals at the church dedicated to the Madonna Addolorata.
