La Sfida del Torchio returns to Rionero in Vulture from September 11th to 13th, 2026, with a grand celebration dedicated to grapes, the grape harvest, and the rich traditions of the Vulture region. The spotlight shines on the municipalities with a strong winemaking heritage, as they engage in a fun competition filled with games, challenges, and re-enactments rooted in local farming culture. This event specifically celebrates Aglianico del Vulture wine and the age-old tradition of the vendemmia (grape harvest), blending culture, food and wine, entertainment, and conviviality. The heart of the event is the 'diffused restaurant,' where participating communities offer their traditional dishes.
