Experience a true taste of local Italian life at this lively parish festival in San Benedetto di Trissino! This event celebrates the "Patata Monte Grumo," a special local potato grown right here at the Pellizzaro Farm. You'll find a rich food stand serving up delicious, authentic dishes, including handmade gnocchi made with fresh new potatoes and various sauces, fresh pasta, grilled chicken wings, and other traditional regional specialties. The kitchen is open rain or shine until 10:30 PM.
Indulge in a feast of local flavors! The highlight is definitely the handmade gnocchi, crafted with the famous Patata Monte Grumo and served with a variety of delicious sauces like mascarpone and peppers, radicchio and sausage, butter and sage, tomato, ragù, or even truffle. You can also savor fresh maccheroncini pasta with tomato, ragù, or sausage and radicchio. For main courses, enjoy grilled chicken wings, Luganeghe sausage, grilled pancetta, grilled salami paste, and traditional polenta brustolà. Don't forget the sides like beans with uccelletto, beans with peppers, mushrooms, or classic french fries. Round out your meal with cheese and sopressa sandwiches, refreshing drinks, beer, wine, and sweet fritters.
Join us for delicious food and fun! The food stand will be open on Friday, July 3rd, starting at 7:00 PM; Saturday, July 4th, starting at 6:30 PM; and Sunday, July 5th, starting at 6:30 PM. The festivities continue the following weekend: Friday, July 10th, starting at 7:00 PM; Saturday, July 11th, starting at 6:30 PM; and Sunday, July 12th, starting at 6:30 PM. The kitchen is open in all weather conditions and closes at 10:30 PM each night.
