Enjoy two days of a 'Mercato della Terra' (Earth Market) featuring small local producers, engaging educational workshops, live showcooking demonstrations, medieval parades, and captivating performances. The program includes presentations of typical local products, concerts, flamenco demonstrations, and artistic workshops. Explore unique regional treats like Gofri from Cucineria di Marcello Drago, a Slow Food Presidium, and the savory Miasse Gourmet from the Slow Food Val Chiusella. Join us for two days of festivities! On SEPTEMBER 26, 2026, the Mercato della Terra e della Biodiversità opens at 9:00 AM across Piazza Conte Rosso, Piazzetta ex Pretura, and Giardino delle Donne. At 11:00 AM, witness the Corte del Conte Rosso Parade with Flag Wavers and Musicians, followed by the traditional Onion Cutting. A commemoration in memory of Carlin Petrini will take place at 11:30 AM. From 12:30 PM, enjoy 'Mangiare passeggiando nel Borgo' (Eating while strolling through the village), featuring Gran Risotto alla Cipolla, Tortino della Cipolla, Miasse Gourmet, Gofri, and Vermouth Trinchieri. In the afternoon, there's a book presentation at 2:30 PM for 'La fatica non fa rumore' (Edizioni del Graffio) with Gabriele Scapola, followed by a presentation of the Ercolino il grano valsusino project at 3:30 PM. Enjoy concerts by Coro Europa Cantant di Reano (dir. Arturo Giolitti) at 4:30 PM and Coro Sfumature di Rosa (Cortile Casa Allais) at 5:30 PM. Conclude the day with a Flamenco demonstration by A.S.D. ArteinMovimento at 6:00 PM. On SEPTEMBER 27, 2026, 'La Via degli Artisti' will be open all day on Via Porta Ferrata. Creative workshops include 'L'Orto dei Piccoli Artisti' with Eleonora Pezzoli, focusing on watercolor painting from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and a practical clay and painting workshop for all ages with Paola Vidotto at 10:30 AM (reservations at 338 7047116). 'Mangiare passeggiando nel Borgo' resumes at 12:30 PM.
