The Kriss di Gniva night is one of the most captivating traditions in Val Resia, an ancient ritual that continues to unite community and memory. On the eve of Saints Peter and Paul, June 27th, the hamlet of Gniva renews the custom of lighting a large bonfire. The event includes a pasta dinner at 8:00 PM for all participants, followed by the bonfire lighting at 9:00 PM and the throwing of 'cidule' (traditional wooden containers) with free-will offerings for charity.
