The medieval village of Gandino transforms into a hub of taste and rural traditions with "I Giorni del Melgotto," an event dedicated to Gandino's unique Spiked Corn (Mais Spinato di Gandino). The 2026 edition offers themed lunches and dinners, guided tours, cultural and educational meetings, and a zero-mile farmers' market. Gastronomic specialties include camisocc, roasted meats, capù, spinate, Melgococca cake, and Scarlatta beer.

The festival kicks off on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th, with a "Sapori d'Altura" tasting at Monte Farno from 10:30 AM, followed by an invitation-only book presentation at Palazzo Zilioli Comunità Magda at 8:30 PM. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25th, features "Aperimais & After Dinner" with wine and liquor tastings from 6:30 PM at Palazzo Zilioli Comunità Magda, a solidarity dinner at 7:00 PM (featuring SPECIALTY CAPÙ), and a "Black in Seventies" concert by "Take it Voices" in Piazza Santa Croce at 9:00 PM. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th, starts with the Saturday Market in Piazza V. Veneto and a Farmers' Market at Mulino Clemente Savoldelli from 8:00 AM. Enjoy a solidarity lunch at Parco Zilioli Comunità Magda at 12:00 PM (SPECIALTY CAPÙ), a Children's Market in Piazza Vittorio Veneto from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and another "Aperimais & After Dinner" at Palazzo Zilioli Comunità Magda from 6:30 PM, followed by a solidarity dinner at 7:00 PM. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27th, offers a solidarity lunch at Parco Zilioli Comunità Magda from 12:00 PM. The festivities continue on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2nd, with "Aperimais & After Dinner" lounge bar with wine and liquor tastings at Parco Zilioli Comunità Magda from 6:30 PM, and a solidarity dinner at 7:00 PM (SPECIALTY CAPÙ). SATURDAY, OCTOBER 3rd, brings back the Saturday Market in Piazza V. Veneto and Farmers' Market at Mulino Clemente Savoldelli from 8:00 AM. Experience corn harvesting in the field at Cà Parecia (via Foscolo) at 10:00 AM, followed by a solidarity lunch at Parco Zilioli Comunità Magda at 12:00 PM (SPECIALTY CAPÙ). A zero-mile Farmers' Market of Val Gandino takes place in Piazza Vittorio Veneto from 2:30 PM, with corn husking in the piazza and musical entertainment by FolksVaghen at 4:00 PM. Conclude the day with "Aperimais & After Dinner" lounge bar at Parco Zilioli Comunità Magda from 6:30 PM and a solidarity dinner at 7:00 PM. On SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4th, enjoy a solidarity lunch at Parco Zilioli Comunità Magda from 12:00 PM, a chestnut roast in Piazza Vittorio Veneto with CAI Valgandino at 4:00 PM, and a special itinerary in the Convent of the Ursuline Sisters at 5:30 PM.
