On October 3rd and 4th, 2026, the 'Gourmand' cycling event, Gravel Gourmet, returns with exciting new routes and gourmet experiences through the stunning valleys around Parma. This event aims to engage all your senses, focusing on charming small towns in the Parma province, rich in architectural, historical, and gastronomic treasures. On Sunday, October 4th, choose from two routes: a 50 km short course or an 80 km longer one. There's also a special family itinerary for those who want to soak in the Gravel Gourmet atmosphere with their loved ones. All routes – Long, Short, and Family – will kick off from Parco Nevicati in Collecchio on Sunday, October 4th. This region, nestled in the heart of Italy's Food Valley, needs no introduction when it comes to its world-renowned products and cuisine. Prepare to be delighted by highly acclaimed IGP and DOP products like Parmigiano Reggiano and Prosciutto di Parma, along with various cured meats. And of course, the true star of Emilia's gastronomy is fresh pasta, especially the delicious stuffed varieties.
