Experience the 4th edition of this charming autumn festival in Regnano, Tolentino! The Fregnano in Castagna festival celebrates the humble chestnut with a lively atmosphere centered around the village church. Saturday, October 24th, kicks off with entertainment and music by Giordano Show, keeping the party going late into the night. On Sunday, October 25th, indulge in a feast of traditional Italian dishes at the food stands, featuring delicious tortelloni with mushrooms and jus, wild boar pappardelle, mixed grill, fried specialties, and porchetta. There will also be engaging workshops for children and pastry-making, live music, and warm mulled wine to enjoy throughout the day.
Prepare your taste buds for a delightful array of Italian comfort food! Savor hearty first courses like wild boar pappardelle and tortelloni with mushrooms and jus, alongside traditional Fagioli con le cotiche. For main courses, enjoy a mixed meat grill and fried meat specialties, or grab a delicious porchetta or braciola sandwich from the street food stands, complete with crispy french fries. Don't miss the star of the festival: fresh chestnuts, complemented by sweet treats like fried bomboloni, ciambelline, and biscuits with vino cotto, all washed down with warm mulled wine or local vino cotto.
