Sagra · October 25, 2026 – November 15, 2026 · Acqualagna (Pesaro Urbino)
Acqualagna, nestled in the hinterland of Pesaro and Urbino, is renowned as the 'Truffle Capital.' Every autumn, it dedicates its International Fair to the prized white truffle (Tuber magnatum Pico), celebrating its 61st edition in 2026. The Fair spans seven days: Sunday, October 25th; Saturday, October 31st; Sunday, November 1st; followed by the weekends of November 7th-8th and November 14th-15th. The heart of the event is the market exhibition in Piazza Mattei, where truffle hunters and merchants sell freshly harvested white truffles. This year also marks the debut of the new Truffle Market. Alongside the truffle stands, you'll find Marche and Italian specialties, tastings, and typical local products. The 'Salotto da Gustare' (Tasting Lounge) hosts a rotating lineup of Michelin-starred chefs, leading figures in Italian and international cuisine, and food creators. Announced names include Michele Pidone, Danny Horseele, Érsek Gergely, Giorgione, Stefano Ciotti, and Sonia Peronaci. Hungary is this edition's guest country. Returning events include the Tartufo Award, a national competition among 'Città del Tartufo' (Truffle Cities), the Premio Ruscella d'Oro, and the Premio Nazionale Enrico Mattei. A visit to the fair pairs perfectly with exploring the surroundings: just a few kilometers away lies the Gola del Furlo, with its dramatic rock walls along the Candigliano river.
Fair dates: October 25th, 31st, November 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th, 2026. The fresh white truffle market exhibition takes place in Piazza Mattei. This year's guest country is Hungary. A detailed schedule of events will be available on the Acqualagna Municipality website.
