San Giovanni in Persiceto, a picturesque town just 30 minutes from Bologna, Modena, and Ferrara, will host the San GiovANNI’50 Festival from August 28-30 and September 4-6, 2026. This is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the sparkling atmosphere of the 1950s! Now in its twelfth edition, the event will take place at the sports center on via Castelfranco in San Giovanni in Persiceto, filled with dazzling lights, delicious food, and fantastic music. The celebration features six evenings of concerts and performances with top Italian and international artists and dance schools. You'll also have the chance to take free lessons in boogie woogie, collegiate shag, and other iconic dances from the era. Don't miss the Rock'n'roll Pool Party with dance floors and DJ sets from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and the original pin up contest! The event will be set against a backdrop of fascinating vintage cars, charming vintage markets, food stands offering traditional cuisine, and a funfair for the little ones.
