The 18th International Folklore Festival brings a week of vibrant events to Giove. You'll witness historical parades, breathtaking aerial and medieval dance shows, performances by international folk groups, and flag-wavers. The festival also features live music evenings, sunset apericena, and a tavern serving authentic Umbrian dishes.

The festival kicks off on July 12th: at 5:30 PM, explore local artisan markets in the ancient village streets. Piazza Cento Tramonti hosts an aerial dance show 'RESPIRO' at 6:30 PM, followed by live music with Alex Coppa and a sunset apericena at 7:00 PM. At 9:15 PM in Piazza XXIV maggio, experience the historical re-enactment 'CERIMONIA DEL CERO' with the Corteo Storico Di Giove. Later, at 9:45 PM in Largo Buonarroti, enjoy MEDIEVAL DANCES and a 'FUOCO INDOMINUS' fire show. On July 16th, the sports facilities in Giove open their BAR-stuzzicherie at 7:30 PM. At 9:15 PM, a parade featuring the Corteo Storico di Giove and Sbandieratori delle Sette Contrade di Orte starts from Piazza XXIV maggio, arriving at the sports facilities for a performance by Musici and Sbandieratori Groups at 10:00 PM, followed by live music with L'Artista at 11:00 PM. From July 17th to 19th, the TAVERNA serving typical Umbrian dishes opens at 7:30 PM (reservations: 340 487 8592). July 17th highlights: a performance by SERBIA- KUD 'Mladih' (Youth Folk Ensemble) from Novi Paza at 9:30 PM, followed by the '2000 FOREVER' party music show at 10:30 PM. July 18th features: performances by Folk CASTELRAIMONDO, MESSICO 'Folklorico Cananea A.C.', and GAMBIA Kora hero and farafina kan band, all starting at 9:30 PM. The night continues with 'CYBORG ON TOUR' with Dj Al.one, Simone Merlini, Malcolm at 11:30 PM. July 19th: an aperitivo with DJ at 6:30 PM at the bar entrance of the sports facilities. At 9:30 PM, enjoy a performance by SERBIA- KUD 'Mladih' and 'I SOGNI DELLA FENICE' LED light show, with a DJ after-party at 11:00 PM.
