The Festival del Boscaiolo returns to Campotosto to celebrate the rich traditions and impressive skills of lumberjacks. This exciting event, taking place on July 11th and 12th, 2026, features thrilling lumberjack triathlon competitions, technical demonstrations, live music entertainment, and delicious food stands. There will also be inflatables for children and a dedicated off-road area for more fun.

Join us at the Nuovi Campi Sportivi Comunali, Campotosto (AQ) — hosted by Vivere la Montagna APS. The festival runs from July 11-12, 2026. On Saturday, July 11th, kick off the fun with the Torneo del Lago (soccer tournament) as we anticipate the main event. Sunday, July 12th, starts bright and early with registration for the 1st edition of the Triathlon del Boscaiolo at 8:00 AM, followed by a Holy Blessing and ribbon cutting at 9:00 AM. The thrilling Lumberjack Triathlon competition begins at 9:30 AM. Also on Sunday, enjoy a 5-a-side football tournament (8 teams competing for purchase vouchers: 1st place €600, 2nd place €300, 3rd place €150), with speaker and DJ Antonio C'è providing the music. Don't miss the Billago Tournament! Kids will love the inflatable play area, and the event is guaranteed to proceed even in case of rain.
