The Festeggiamenti Patronali San Rocco in Castel San Pietro Romano offers a rich program of events for the whole family. From starlit walks to tribute concerts, and from food stalls to spectacular fireworks, the event culminates with a solemn Holy Mass and procession in honor of the Saint. There will also be sports tournaments and theatrical performances for a complete experience.
The festivities kick off on July 17th with the 'Torneo di Calcio a 5, 18° memorial Giuseppe Fiasco' football tournament. On Monday, August 10th, at 9:00 PM, join 'Akropolis - Passeggiata sotto le stelle' (Starlit Walk) – reservations are required. Wednesday, August 12th, at 9:30 PM, Piazza San Pietro hosts 'i Figli delle Stelle' in concert. On Thursday, August 13th, at 9:30 PM, catch the 'Idol Tribute band Achille Lauro' concert in Piazza San Pietro. Friday, August 14th, marks the 'FESTA A SANTA MARIA' with a musical show and food stalls starting at 9:00 PM. Saturday, August 15th, is 'FESTA DELL'ASSUNTA,' beginning with bells ringing at 7:00 AM, followed by the 'SIAMO SOLO NOI Vasco Rossi tribute band' concert in Piazza San Pietro at 9:30 PM. Sunday, August 16th, is the main 'FESTA DI SAN ROCCO,' with bells at 7:00 AM, the 'G. PIERLUIGI DA PALESTRINA' Musical Band at 9:30 AM, a tribute to the fallen at 10:30 AM, and the solemn Holy Mass and procession at 11:00 AM. Food stalls open at 7:30 PM, followed by a Tombola drawing with a €1500 prize at 8:00 PM. At 9:30 PM, enjoy the 'BATTITO BATTIATO, omaggio a Franco Battiato' concert in Piazza San Pietro, culminating in a fireworks display at midnight. From August 18th to 21st, a card tournament, the '18° MEMORIAL Emilio Baroni,' takes place at 6:00 PM. On Friday, August 21st, from 5:00 PM, Via Vittorio Veneto Park offers free children's entertainment with 'Mondo di Gomma,' cotton candy, and Paolo DJ. Saturday, August 22nd, at 9:00 PM, the Teatro Belvedere di Ponente presents a musical tribute to Morandi, Gazzè, Silvestri, and Fabi. The festivities conclude on Sunday, August 23rd (S. ROCCHETTO), with bells at 7:00 AM and a theatrical performance at 9:30 PM in Via V. Veneto Park, featuring Ettore Bassi in 'Il Sindaco pescatore' as part of the film festival (reservations required).
