Vicari celebrates its patron saint, Santa Rosalia, with five days of vibrant festivities! The program is packed with events, including an Almond Festival, live concerts featuring Italian stars like Jerusa Barros and Noemi, spectacular fireworks displays, a bikers' rally, and a traditional equestrian parade. Food lovers will delight in tastings of local specialties and an exciting cooking show.

The celebration kicks off with a TRIDUO of religious services from Monday, September 21st to Wednesday, September 23rd. On Wednesday, September 23rd, the fun begins with amusement rides opening at 4:00 PM, a table tennis tournament at 5:00 PM, and the grand opening of the Expo & Food area for the Festival del Mandorlo at 6:00 PM, followed by a BAILALO performance at 10:00 PM. Thursday, September 24th, marks the SOLEMNITY OF SANTA ROSALIA. Start your day with a livestock and traditional products exhibition at 8:00 AM, followed by tastings of typical products at 10:30 AM. The afternoon includes a welcome for local Vicaresi enlisted in the military and police forces at 5:00 PM, a Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM, and a SOLEMN EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION in Piazza San Marco at 7:00 PM. A SOLEMN PROCESSION through the town streets takes place at 8:00 PM, culminating in fireworks at 9:30 PM and a concert by JERUSA BARROS at 10:00 PM. Friday, September 25th, features a DJ SET & Cultural Aperitivo at the Auditorium Castello at 6:30 PM, followed by a concert with NOEMI at 9:30 PM, and a late-night DJ SET by Pub Stonehenge at 11:30 PM. Saturday, September 26th, starts with a Bikers' Rally at 10:00 AM. Enjoy guided tours of the Castello di Vicari at 5:00 PM, a COOKING SHOW at 6:30 PM, a performance by SALVO PIPARO at 9:30 PM, and DISCO GALATTICA at 11:00 PM. The festivities conclude on Sunday, September 27th, with an EQUESTRIAN PARADE in honor of Santa Rosalia at 4:00 PM, featuring the Tamburinari di Aspra, folk groups, and Sicilian Dancers. The evening wraps up with a CONVIVENDO Tribute to Biagio Antonacci at 10:00 PM.
