Surano celebrates its patron saints: Sant'Antonio Primaldo e Compagni, the Vergine Assunta, and San Rocco. The town comes alive with a rich program of religious ceremonies, processions, and band concerts. Evenings will feature music and entertainment for everyone to enjoy.
📅 AUGUST 1-2-3: TRIDUUM IN PREPARATION FOR THE FESTIVITIES 7:00 PM: Mass at the Chapel. At the end of the August 3rd celebration, a procession with the simulacrum of San Rocco to the Chiesa Madre. 📅 AUGUST 14: FESTA DEI SANTI MARTIRI 8:00 AM: Holy Mass at the Chiesa Madre. 7:00 PM: Holy Mass in Piazza Santi Martiri. At the end of the celebration, the mayor, avv. Francesco Rizzo, will present the keys to the Santi Martiri. 10:00 PM: 🎤 Ciakky Best Production. 📅 AUGUST 15: SOLEMNITY OF THE VERGINE ASSUNTA 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 7:00 PM: Holy Masses at the Chiesa Madre. At the end of the evening mass, a procession with the simulacrum of the Vergine. 🎵 The "CITTÀ DI MANDURIA" band concert will perform throughout the day. 📅 AUGUST 16: FESTA DI SAN ROCCO 6:30 AM: Morning Salva. 7:00 AM: Traditional Mass at the Chapel of San Rocco. 11:00 AM, 7:00 PM: Holy Masses at the Chiesa Madre. At the end of the evening mass, a procession with the simulacrum of San Rocco. 🎵 The "CITTÀ DI GIOIA DEL COLLE" & "CITTÀ DI CASTELLANA GROTTE" band concerts will perform throughout the day. 📅 AUGUST 17: THE CELEBRATION CONTINUES...
