Mazzano Romano celebrates its 51st Festa Patronale di San Nicola with the traditional Sagra della Bruschetta e Salsiccia. Enjoy three days of festivities featuring food stalls, live music, religious ceremonies, and a grand fireworks finale. The festivities kick off on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 4, 2026, at 12:00 PM with the traditional opening 'Colpi scuri.' Food stands open at 7:30 PM, followed by a 'Queen tribute' musical show by Galileo at 9:30 PM. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2026, begins with a mass in honor of San Nicola at 7:00 PM at the Chiesa di San Nicola di Piazza Giovanni XXIII. Food stands open again at 7:30 PM, followed by a solemn procession at 8:00 PM, and a 'The Music anni 90' DJ set at 9:30 PM. On SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2026, there's a welcome event for new Mazzano residents at 11:30 AM, and the 'Nicola Renzetti' merit scholarships are awarded at 12:00 PM in the Sala Consiliare. Food stands open for the final evening at 7:30 PM, with a musical show by 'I Figli delle stelle' at 9:30 PM, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display at 11:45 PM to close the festival.
