The Festa Madonna Addolorata in Gimigliano is a heartfelt celebration of devotion, featuring a rich program of both religious ceremonies and lively community events. Food stands will offer delicious local specialties, with the highlight being the special 'vitella' (veal) lunch and dinner. The festivities kick off on September 15th at 5:00 PM with a Liturgical Memorial and Holy Mass. From September 17th to 19th, join the TRIDUO DI PREPARAZIONE at 4:30 PM, including the Corona dei 7 Dolori and Holy Mass in the Church. On Friday, September 18th, food stands open at 7:30 PM, followed by a BRISCOLA card tournament and live music in the piazza with ALESSIO DI PIETRO at 9:30 PM. Saturday, September 19th, also features food stands from 7:30 PM, with the LEVEL UP PARTY BAND playing live disco hits from the 90s and 2000s at 9:30 PM. Sunday, September 20th, begins with Holy Mass at 8:00 AM and a chanted Holy Mass at 11:30 AM. Don't miss the special 'Pranzo della Vitella' (Veal Lunch) at 12:30 PM (fixed menu €15,00). The afternoon will be enlivened by CIARRAPICO and his organetto. At 4:30 PM, there will be Holy Mass and a procession accompanied by the Venagrande band. The 'Cena della Vitella' (Veal Dinner) is served at 7:30 PM (fixed menu €15,00), followed by live music with the BLUE NIGHT live band at 8:00 PM. After the procession, a parish hall will be dedicated to Don Attilio Galli, marking the 40th anniversary of the revival of devotion to the Madonna (1986).
