Plus, every evening offers a charity raffle and a fun Luna Park. Sant'Azio was a young farmer from Pamphylia during the reign of Roman Emperor Diocletian (284 - 305 AD). He was martyred for his Christian faith on August 1, 300 AD, in Perge, the capital of Pamphylia. In the small church in Taizzano named after him, you can admire his statue, depicting him with his face turned to the sky, holding a farm tool in his right hand and the palm of martyrdom in his left.
