The Festa di San Martino in Lughetto offers two days of vibrant celebrations, featuring traditional masses, historical reenactments, and live music. The festivities kick off on Saturday, November 7th, with a Holy Mass at 6:00 PM. On Sunday, November 8th, a morning Holy Mass is held at 9:30 AM. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in 'IL RACCONTO,' a narration of the story of San Martino in the church at 3:30 PM, followed by 'IL MANTELLO DI SAN MARTINO' at 4:00 PM, showcasing cloaks created by local kindergarten children. At 4:30 PM, witness 'SAN MARTINO A CAVALLO,' a historical reenactment of San Martino on horseback. The evening concludes with a concert by the Lupia Jazz Orchestra at 6:00 PM. Throughout Sunday afternoon, enjoy a game of 90 Tombola, savor hot chocolate, vin brûlé, and roasted chestnuts, and find face painting and traditional games for kids in the kindergarten courtyard. There's also a 'Decora il tuo San Martino' workshop by Vanessa Bakery & Bacaro for a €5.00 contribution per child. The Patronato bar will be open all afternoon serving sandwiches, toast, and hot dogs, with the main food stand opening at 6:30 PM. After each mass, you can purchase traditional San Martino sweets prepared by kindergarten mothers, with all proceeds supporting the school.
