Experience a traditional Italian village festival in Rovina, Pisogne (BS), celebrating local Brescian culinary specialties. Enjoy three days of festivities with live music, DJ sets, traditional Italian ballroom dancing (ballo liscio), and religious services. This event is all about conviviality, featuring a food stand with delicious local dishes and entertainment for the whole family.
Indulge in authentic Brescian cuisine, including succulent grilled chicken (polletto alla brace) and the renowned slow-roasted Spiedo Bresciano. Complement your meal with traditional polenta, crispy fries, and roasted chestnuts (caldarroste). A selection of water, beer, and wine will also be available.
The festival kicks off on Friday, September 18th, from 7:00 PM with grilled chicken (polletto alla brace) and a DJ Set by DJ Jonathan. Saturday, September 19th, starts with a Holy Mass at 6:00 PM, followed by the food stand opening at 7:00 PM, featuring typical dishes and roasted chestnuts, a DJ Set by DJ Paolo, and traditional ballo liscio dancing with Luigi e la sua Fisarmonica. On Sunday, September 20th, attend a Holy Mass at 11:00 AM, then enjoy the Spiedo Bresciano from 12:30 PM with live music from JollyBluBand (Tribute C&Max Pezzali). Roasted chestnuts will be available throughout Sunday afternoon, and the food stand reopens at 7:00 PM with more typical dishes.
