Celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Festa di Ripa d'Oglio! This vibrant festival offers a rich program of events, including live music, theatrical comedies, card game tournaments, and the traditional Palio delle Contrade featuring a charming donkey parade. Indulge in delicious local specialties like spit-roasted meats, quail, and creamy risottos, alongside sweet treats such as roasted chestnuts and waffles. Join us for a week of festivities! The celebration kicks off on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 7th at 8:30 PM with a procession through the village streets, starting from Àl Guad Dèle Osèlè. On THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th at 8:30 PM, enjoy the comedy 'Na bela sfregadina e...' by the 'I Culur dei True Colors' Company in Via San Carlo (river area). FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th at 8:30 PM features a gastronomic briscola card game tournament. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 10th brings a pre-booked spit roast dinner at 8:00 PM, followed by live music from Enzo Paolo e i Turchi at 10:00 PM. SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th is packed with events: a Holy Mass at the cemetery at 9:30 AM, followed by the 40th Palio Contrade at 2:30 PM, featuring a donkey parade (starting from the paper mill) and folk entertainment throughout the village with Ass. 'Dado d'oro' and Radio Bruno. Don't miss chestnuts and waffles at the Chiesetta! Live music continues with 'Splendido Splendente' at 7:00 PM and Brescio DJ at 10:00 PM. The festival concludes on MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th with Holy Masses from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, a Holy Rosary at 4:00 PM, children's blessing at 4:30 PM, and a Holy Mass with choir at 7:00 PM, followed by a raffle drawing. Quail and risottos are available by reservation on Friday and Saturday. The bar opens at 6:00 PM and kitchen at 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, the bar is open non-stop from 10:00 AM.
