Experience the 48th edition of the Festa della Vendemmia in Penna in Teverina, a charming small village in Umbria. This event celebrates the rich traditions of the grape harvest, featuring freshly picked grapes and a variety of delicious products. You'll find excellent local wines, sweet treats made with grape must, and authentic traditional peasant recipes. The festival is proudly organized by the Pro Loco of Penna in Teverina, with the invaluable help of local volunteers.
Indulge in a delightful array of local specialties, including sweet treats made with grape must, fresh grape must drinks, traditional bread infused with grape must, and, of course, an abundance of fresh grapes and fine local wines.
Join us for the 48th Festa della Vendemmia on October 2-3-4, 2026, in Penna in Teverina (TR). Based on previous years' programs, you can expect: Friday Evening: 🍽️ From 7:30 PM: A 'SERPENTONE ENOGASTRONOMICO' (food and wine trail) winding through the historic center. 🎵 9:30 PM: Live music with Sara P. & Nitto Dj in P.zza S. Valentino. 🎵 Midnight: DJ SET with Marco Pettorossi in P.zza S. Valentino. Saturday: 🎨 From 3:00 PM (continuing Sunday): An itinerant outdoor painting exhibition curated by artist Andrea Fogli. 🎵 5:00 PM: "Andrea Pantaleoni" band gathering. 🍽️ 7:30 PM: GASTRONOMIC STAND with à la carte dinner menu at the sports facilities (reservations open from September 27). 🎵 10:00 PM: Live music with the "OUTSIDE BAND." Sunday: 🛍️ 10:00 AM: Fair opens. 💃 10:30 AM: Dance school exhibition by "ASD Danziamo" from Giove in Piazza S. Valentino. 🍽️ 12:00 PM: GASTRONOMIC STAND opens (reservations open from September 27) featuring traditional folk songs and toasts with Giorgio Paoluzzi and his accordion. Two sittings: 1st turn at 12:00 PM | 2nd turn at 1:30 PM. 🎵 3:30 PM: DJ SET with I PIPINARI & MATTEO FILIBERTI (voice & guitar) in the historic center. 🎵 4:00 PM: Music with the "TRIO BRAMBILLA" in Piazza della Libertà. Sunday Afternoon: 🍷 Free tastings of wine, grape must, grapes, bread with grape must, and other typical local products. Saturday & Sunday: 🎡 New for 2025: Amusement rides open, featuring the Super Tagadà.
