The Festa della Madonna della Pace in Garulla di Amandola offers four days of vibrant celebrations featuring music, dancing, and delicious local specialties. Highlights include the 33rd Sagra del Polentone e del Galletto, a lively briscola card tournament, and evening dance parties. Indulge in a variety of traditional Italian delights, from classic pizza and refreshing beer to hearty 'polentone' (a rich polenta dish) and succulent grilled 'galletto' (young rooster). Don't miss the 'arrosticini' (grilled lamb skewers) for a taste of authentic street food, alongside other typical mountain products unique to the region.
Join us for four days of fun! On JULY 30, enjoy an evening of 'arrosticini' and beer with music and dancing by the New Flambar Band. At 9 PM, test your skills in a couples' briscola tournament (64 pairs, €20 entry per couple). JULY 31 brings more music at 9 PM with Discotek People. On AUGUST 1, start with all-you-can-eat pizza at 12 PM, followed by the grand opening of the food stands and the 33rd Sagra del Polentone e del Galletto (takeaway available!). Dinner is served outdoors until late, with dancing to the ANDREA CENSI Band at 9 PM. AUGUST 2 kicks off with breakfast featuring local mountain products at 9 AM. At 10:30 AM, enjoy an Alpine parade accompanied by the Fanfara di Acquasanta Terme, followed by a Holy Mass animated by the same band at 11 AM. Lunch at 1 PM features 'polentone' and grilled 'galletto.' The afternoon brings traditional folk games at 3 PM and dancing with CRISTIAN. Outdoor dinner is available until late evening. All events have free admission.
