The Festa della Castagna in Roccadaspide celebrates the prized Marrone IGP chestnut with a rich culinary journey, free roasted chestnuts, a market of local products, and live music. The event also offers guided tours of Castello Filomarino and walks through the chestnut groves, promising an authentic experience in the heart of Cilento Interno.

Join us for three days of festivities! On October 30th, the food stands open at 6:00 PM, followed by an opening conference at Aula Consiliare. Enjoy dance performances by Scuola Danza Giselle with 'The Greatest Show' at 8:00 PM in Piazza XX Settembre, then live music from Barracca Republic at 8:30 PM in Piazza XX Settembre and Bukowski Wine Club in P.zza De Marco. On October 31st, food stands open at 12:00 PM, with music from I Valcalore in Piazza XX Settembre. From 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, take free guided tours of Castello Filomarino (reservations recommended). At 6:00 PM, meet local chestnut growers at Castello Filomarino, and food stands reopen. The evening features I Picarielli at 8:30 PM in Piazza XX Settembre, Bukowski Wine Club in Via S. Giuliano, and Stragatti in P.zza De Marco. November 1st kicks off with a vintage car parade at 10:30 AM, and food stands open at 12:00 PM with music from Raffaele Polito Trio in Piazza XX Settembre. At 3:00 PM, enjoy a scenic walk through the chestnut groves. Free guided tours of Castello Filomarino are available from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM (reservations recommended). Food stands reopen at 6:00 PM, followed by Napoleone at 8:30 PM in Piazza XX Settembre, Bukowski Wine Club in Via S. Giuliano, and Little Italy Duo in P.zza De Marco. Food stands will also be open for lunch on Saturday, October 31st, and Sunday, November 1st, starting at 12:00 PM.
