Join us for the 9th edition of the Festa della Castagna, a charming charity event organized by the Comitato di Via XII Agosto and the C.G.C. of Capezzano Pianore. On Saturday, October 17th, the festival kicks off with the Filarmonica Versilia DEB, followed by a school competition and a delicious dinner featuring steak and fries, with live music from the Just Friends Live Band. Sunday, October 18th, includes a morning mass, a hearty lunch with traditional tordelli pasta and steak, fun games and magic for the kids, and an abundance of roasted chestnuts and necci (sweet chestnut crepes).
Indulge in a delightful array of Tuscan flavors! Our menu features traditional tordelli pasta, succulent steak with crispy fries, and refreshing cold platters. Don't miss the local specialties like panzanelle (fried dough), savory panini, and delicious prosciutto. And of course, enjoy plenty of roasted chestnuts and necci, sweet crepes made from chestnut flour, for a true taste of the season.
