The Festa del Vino del Monferrato Unesco returns to Casale Monferrato, a beloved event that for over sixty years has celebrated the exquisite flavors and wines of the Monferrato hills, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The 65th edition in 2026 spans two weekends, from September 18-20 and September 25-27. This year, 31 local Pro Loco associations will be featured, offering around 100 traditional recipes perfectly paired with wines from 30 Monferrato producers. The program is packed with live music, guided tastings, and much more.
Indulge in a culinary journey through Monferrato's rich traditions. Savor classic first courses like agnolotti pasta and panissa, or hearty main dishes such as bollito misto (a selection of boiled meats) and fritto misto (mixed fried delights). Don't miss the unique bagna cauda, a warm dip perfect for sharing, all expertly paired with the region's renowned Monferrato wines.
