The Festa del Marrone returns to Campiglia d'Orcia for its 47th edition, celebrating one of the most iconic products of the Monte Amiata foothills: the local chestnut. For an entire day, the village comes alive with the aromas, flavors, and traditions tied to this beloved ingredient. The three local districts – Agitati, Borgassero, and Dentro – are the stars of the show, decorating the streets with elaborate scenes and historical reenactments inspired by local history and traditions. Each district also hosts its own food stall, offering traditional cuisine and specialties made with chestnuts and marroni.
