Indulge your sweet tooth at the first-ever Festa del Cioccolato in Montalto Uffugo! This two-day event in the historic town center is a celebration of all things chocolate, featuring guided tastings, hands-on workshops, live music, and captivating shows. Organized by Proloco in collaboration with Azienda Garritano, it's a fantastic opportunity to discover the rich flavors of Italian chocolate. Admission is free!
The festival kicks off on Friday, October 2, 2026, at 7:00 PM with an opening performance by the Città di Montalto Uffugo musical band. Later that evening, at 8:30 PM, join a special chocolate tasting led by trainer Giuseppe Palmieri. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, stands open at 10:30 AM. At 11:00 AM, Azienda Garritano hosts a chocolate workshop at the Chiostro Ricreatorio Don Gaetano Mauro (reservations recommended: 349 5470780). The festival concludes with a musical show at 9:30 PM.
