Festa del Bacalà alla Vicentina in Sandrigo

Sagra · September 17, 2026 – September 19, 2026 · Sandrigo (VI)

The 39th edition of the Festa del Bacalà alla Vicentina returns to Sandrigo from September 17-20 and September 24-28, 2026. This festival celebrates one of Vicenza's most iconic dishes, Bacalà alla Vicentina, prepared traditionally with stockfish from Lofoten IGP. For two weekends, Sandrigo transforms into a vibrant celebration of taste with food stalls, live music, shows, markets, tastings, exhibitions, folklore, and family activities. The event highlights the historical connection between Sandrigo and the Lofoten Islands, a bond forged by Pietro Querini's journey in the 15th century.

🍽️ Food & Menu

Indulge in a variety of Bacalà alla Vicentina dishes, from traditional gnocchi and bigoli pasta with Bacalà sauce to creamy Venetian-style Bacalà Mantecato. Savor boiled and creamed Lofoten IGP stockfish, or try a unique twist with Bacalà pizza. For a more casual bite, enjoy Fish and Chips, and don't miss the refreshing stockfish salad.
