The 10th Festa dei Pescatori (Ribiški Praznik) returns to Santa Croce, a vibrant tribute to the rich maritime traditions and fishing culture of the Trieste coastline. Every evening from 6:30 PM, food stalls will open, serving delicious fish-based specialties. The Fishing Museum will also be open for free throughout the event, offering a complete cultural experience.
Indulge in a variety of fresh, local seafood specialties, prepared according to traditional recipes that celebrate the bounty of the Adriatic Sea.
Get ready for an exciting lineup of events! On Thursday, July 9th at 9:00 PM, enjoy the Dalmatian songs of KLAPA SEMIKANTÀ. Friday, July 10th at 9:00 PM features ETNOPLOČ with Aleksander Ipavec on accordion, Piero Purich on soprano and tenor sax, and Matej Špacapan on trumpet. Saturday, July 11th kicks off at 6:00 PM with an 'Ex tempore' art workshop for children, 'TRAMONTO SUL MARE' with Ajlin Visintin, followed by more Dalmatian songs from KLAPA KAMPANEL at 9:00 PM. Sunday, July 12th at 6:00 PM offers traditional card and folk games with a Briscola and 'mora cantada' tournament, then at 9:00 PM, enjoy DOMACE CRAMPI ELISI with Flavio & Maxino. The festival concludes on Monday, July 13th at 9:00 PM with the Accademia Lirica Santa Croce presenting 'Suoni e voci al tramonto,' directed by Alessandro Svab.
