The Festa dei Maruni returns to Alvese di Nogarole Vicentino for its 44th edition, an autumn event dedicated to the flavors and traditions of the Alta Valle del Chiampo. The stars of the festival are the “maruni brustolà,” chestnuts roasted over an open fire to enjoy with friends, alongside other local culinary specialties. Among the most characteristic products are also the “Caùci di Alvese De.Co.,” an ancient peasant dessert made with biscuit bread, milk, eggs, raisins, lemon, and grappa, served with melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon.
Join us for the 44th edition of the Festa dei Maruni! The festival kicks off on Friday, October 23rd. Saturday, October 24th, will feature more Festa dei Maruni festivities and autumn specialties. The final day of the Festa dei Maruni will be Sunday, October 25th.
