Festa de Borg returns to the charming streets and piazzas of Borgo San Giuliano from September 4th to 6th, with the theme “The Return of Buffalo Bill, e’ mond ma chesa nosta.” This year's festival is inspired by the legendary Wild West Show's arrival in Rimini in 1906. This highly anticipated biennial event brings the alleys, squares, and port canal banks near Ponte di Tiberio to life. Visitors can explore themed areas dedicated to the American West and various continents, discover engaging exhibitions, savor delicious offerings from food stalls, and enjoy widespread performances. Don't miss the preview on Friday, September 4th, focusing on the Old West with country and blues music. On Saturday, September 5th, and Sunday, September 6th, the entire borgo will embark on a symbolic journey through the continents. Highlights include themed zones dedicated to the Great West, a fascinating blend of Romagnolo folklore and Western culture, the swing and blues of the American Ball Room, the Argentine Pampa, the Orient, Africa, and European cabaret. Guests can also visit exhibitions on Buffalo Bill, Rimini during the Belle Époque, Rimini's seafaring history, and the “Anima-Azione” photographic project. The program also features Alex Giona's equestrian show “Cavalli in libertà” in Piazza sull’Acqua, the theatrical narrative “Navigare necesse est” along the port canal, the energy of the American Musical, and on Sunday evening, the grand pyro-musical finale “La Frontiera” in Piazza sull’Acqua. Traditional food stalls will be abundant, along with the Grande Lotteria della Festa de Borg, offering 18 prizes.

On Saturday, September 5th, and Sunday, September 6th, the celebration expands throughout Borgo San Giuliano, taking visitors on a symbolic journey across different continents. Key events include Alex Giona's spectacular equestrian show “Cavalli in libertà” in Piazza sull’Acqua, the captivating theatrical performance “Navigare necesse est” along the port canal, and the vibrant American Musical. The grand finale, a stunning pyro-musical display titled “La Frontiera,” will light up Piazza sull’Acqua on Sunday evening.
