Experience the world's largest street art festival, the Ferrara Buskers Festival, drawing 800,000 spectators and featuring 1,000 artists from 35-40 nations. Enjoy over 100 free shows across a 200,000 sq meter area, with jugglers, acrobats, musicians, clowns, and tightrope walkers. This 39th edition, running since 1987, offers captivating performances for all ages, especially enchanting for children.

The festival kicks off on August 26th with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 7:00 PM, followed by a spectacular Double Slackline show over the Estense Castle moat. Daily from 7:00 PM, explore the Street Food Area, a charming market, and the 'ASPETTANDO IL FESTIVAL' activities. Engage in sustainable environmental workshops for adults and children by Gruppo Hera (Cassonetto Trasparente, Ring della raccolta differenziata, Acquability), and workshops for kids by Plastic Free Ferrara and Associazione Circi. There are also dance labs for teens by Danzaresuunaltropianeta and Blackroll, beatbox labs by Albo&Azel, and creative labs by Linea_retta and Mars Creative Waves. Don't miss the environmental-themed labs for the BGreen EcoJungle project. Our daily 'I NOSTRI TALK' series features discussions on music, culture, and the social value of art with Barbara Maussier, Omar Pedrini, the musicians of Donne di strada, Francesco Bommartini, and Davide Panzavolta. The series concludes with the DireFareCambiare Award for a busker recognized for social commitment, rights, and cultural sustainability. Additionally, Poliambulatorio AZ Medical hosts daily medical talks. Every evening, enjoy the free entry 'DOPOFESTIVAL' from midnight in the Cortile del Castello Estense, where buskers take the stage to explore DJ sets and electronic busker music.
