Estate Calovetese 2026 brings the charming village of Caloveto to life with a rich calendar of events, blending music, local traditions, culture, and delicious food and wine. From the Caloveto Beer Festival to the Festa delle Pro Loco, alongside concerts and traditional food festivals, this initiative aims to showcase the beautiful inland area of the Valle del Trionto. Indulge in authentic Calabrian flavors with traditional dishes like Tagliarini pasta, a local specialty, and the unique Ferretto Calovetese. You'll also find hearty options such as chickpeas (ceci), beans (fagioli), and fresh fennel (finocchi), all prepared with local ingredients.
The festival kicks off on July 18th at 9:00 PM with the 'LA FOLLIA DELLA DANZA' Dance Show in Piazza del Caduti. From July 23rd to 26th, starting at 8:30 PM, don't miss the CALOVETO BEER FESTIVAL at Campo Sportivo. July 31st features the FESTA DELLE PRO LOCO with Raivo Congobucco and Book Crapolat. August highlights include the 'CALOVETESI NEL MONDO' Award on August 3rd at 8:30 PM at the Biblioteca Comunale, and the 'DOMENICO BEVACQUA' Memorial on August 4th at 6:30 PM. Enjoy live music with a tribute to Rino Gaetano by KHATMANDU BAND on August 5th at 9:30 PM, POPULAR TARANTA on August 6th at 9:30 PM, and BEAT 90 on August 7th at 10:00 PM, all in Piazza dei Caduti. August 8th at 9:00 PM brings 'VITA DI SAN GIOVANNI CALYBITA' to Piazza del Caduti. Explore the historic center with a walk 'TRA I VICOLI DEL TEMPO' on August 9th at 9:00 AM, followed by a book presentation at 11:30 AM. August 10th at 10:00 PM features the SAGRA DEL FERRETTO CALOVETESE with a concert by Los Locos in Piazza dei Caduti. On August 11th, there's another book presentation at 8:00 PM, and at 9:30 PM, the SAGRA DEI TAGLIARINI, FINOCCHI, CECI E FAGIOLI, along with a concert by ERNESTO GAGLIARDI in Piazza dei Caduti. The 'PIERINO GAGLIARDI' Memorial takes place on August 11th, 12th, and 13th at Campo Calcetto DEMA. August 12th at 9:00 PM offers 'NOTTE ERA CARNARE' III Edition in the historic center. The FESTA REGIONALE DELL'ENTROTERRA with ARSAC is on August 13th at 9:00 PM.
